New Students Welcome!
Getting to know your School.
60 Hour Pre-license Course:
Pre-license prospects must take a 60 Hr. Pre-license Course, which prepares you to go to Nashville or Austin Peay (limited schedule) to take the State (PSI) Exam. CREES 60 Hr. is correspondence—a workbook that is to be completed at home at your own pace (course must be completed 6 months from the date of purchase). Your 60 hour course purchase will include Evening Discussion Classes Tuesday & Thursday nights from 6:00p.m.-8:00p.m. Discussion classes are for the students convenience only, they are not required.
A 5 day discussion class 9:00a.m. to 12:00p.m. will be offered at an additional cost, sign up will be required.
The 60 Hour course is covered in 5 sections all of which stand-alone. If you choose to come to the discussion classes you can begin at any of the sections. (Again these classes are not required for passing the course). There is a quiz at the end of each section & must be passed with a score of 85%. We encourage you to do the quiz without looking at the book first. When the quiz is complete, go back through the book to check the answers before turning in for grading. You may fax, e-mail or bring in for grading.
When you have passed all 5 quizzes with a score of 85% you are ready to come into the school & take the National & State portions of CREES final exam. We do not schedule these exams after 3:00p.m. CREES final exam must be passed with a 75% or higher. If this exam is not passed, you have 3 more versions to make the 75% if you do not reach a 75% your file will be pulled, reviewed and a decision will be made. If you pass, we will report you to PSI. After 48 hours the student can go online to www.psiexams.com to schedule their PSI State exam.
